Tech classes

We provide basic classes for beginners on the following:

  • Androids
  • Smartphones
  • eLibrary
  • Zoom

WiFi

Braidwood, Bungendore and Queanbeyan libraries provide access to WiFi. Log in on your laptop or smart device. 

Public computers

Queanbeyan-Palerang Libraries provides a number of computers at each branch for public use, with internet access, word processing and spreadsheet programs. This is a free service. Computers can be booked in the library or by phoning your local branch. Please remember to bring your library card, or some photo ID if you are a visitor.

Please bring your own USB stick to save your work. The PCs are refreshed and will not retain any of your work for future access. USB sticks are available to purchase from the library for $10.

Sessions are for 15 minutes or one hour. This time may be extended if there are no other bookings. The total time allowed is two hours for each person per day.

Photocopiers and printing

You can photocopy your documents and/or print from our computers.

Fees for photocopying and printing

  • A4 black and white - 25c per page
  • A4 colour - $1 per page
  • A3 black and white - 25c per page
  • A3 colour - $1.50 per page

WiFi printing 

Queanbeyan and Braidwood libraries provide a print from home service via PrinterOn. This means you can print documents from your computer, tablet or smartphone, then come into the library to pay and collect your printed documents.

Scanning

Scanning facilities are available at all library branches free of charge. You must have a USB to scan your documents onto. You can purchase a USB from the library for $10.
