The Local History collection has moved to the former Queanbeyan Council Chambers building at 253 Crawford Street and now forms part of the Heritage Library.
Christmas and New Year operating hours
The Heritage Library will close on Tuesday 24 December 2024 at 4pm and re-open on Thursday 2 January 2025 at 10am.

Our extensive Local History Collection contains a wealth of historical resources with a wide selection of books on the history of Bungendore, Braidwood, Queanbeyan and the surrounding region. It is of particular interest to local residents, visitors, historians, descendants of early families, researchers and students.
