Book Week 2025 will be held from 16 to 22 August with the theme 'Book An Adventure'. Queanbeyan-Palerang Libraries will celebrate Book Week across all 3 of our branches.

Goldilocks & The Three Bears at The Q

We all know the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, right? Well, prepare to be charmed, surprised, entertained and delighted all over again by this endearing and lovable musical tale for kids 0-8, presented as part of QPRC's Book Week celebrations! A beautiful story of friendship and forgiveness, apology and acceptance, with singing and dancing bears and a girl with golden hair. With gentle audience interaction and songs to sing along to, Goldilocks and the Three Bears is the perfect introduction to the world of theatre.

Two shows will be held at The Q at 1pm and 6pm.

Paper Escaper Competition

The Paper Escaper is a joyous and visually stunning puppetry experience. This inventive and heartwarming production by Terrapin Puppet Theatre combines physical performance, original music, and incredible paper-crafted puppetry to tell the story of Benny, a character who dares to dream beyond the edges of his pop-up book world. When Benny breaks free from the constraints of his pages and defies his maker, he embarks on a colourful, action-packed adventure filled with humour, heart, and unexpected friendship.
