Are you the next Australian Poetry Slam Champion? This is it!

Poets have two minutes to perform their original work, no props, no costumes, no music. Judges are randomly chosen from the audience. Two poets chosen by the Queanbeyan audience at this heat on 29 September 2023 head to the state final where they compete in one National Final for a prize worth $20k including publishing and gigs from Byron to Bali and beyond.

Registrations to participate in the heat open at 5.30pm (30 minutes prior to the event). Hosted by local spoken word artist, Andrew Cox, this is a slam not to be missed. Come along to the event to participate or cheer along!
