Explore Braidwood Museum at this special Open Day. Participate in a range of activities, including tours of the exhibitions, archives, restoration rooms and Museum Library. Hard copies of Braidwood Dispatch and Braidwood Review (1907 - 1950s) can be viewed in the Museum Library. Hear the latest news on the build of the Braidwood Heritage centre and take the opportunity to purchase from an extensive local history book collection.
If you're a local, bring your family photos or small artefacts to show and tell. Photographs of family members can be scanned for the Museum family records archives. Copies of family trees and story are most welcome and can be donated to the family history files.
Bookings not required.
This event is part of the Queanbeyan-Palerang Heritage Festival.
