Cr Kenrick Winchester was elected Mayor of QPRC by the Councillors in January 2022.

  • Mayor Kenrick Winchester was first elected to Queanbeyan City Council in 2012.
  • He was elected to the first Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council in 2017 after the merger of Queanbeyan City and Palerang councils.
  • He has many years of experience in contract management working in Fleet Management and Relationship Management roles with the APS and SG Fleet.
  • He has been the Vice-President of the Respite Care for QBN Foundation, President of the Queanbeyan East P&C Association and a board member of the NSW P&C Federation.
  • He was elected to the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council in December 2021 and was elected Mayor by councillors in January 2022.
